It is with great pleasure that we announce the 3rd edition of Abu Dhabi University's flagship International Conference on Advancing Sustainable Futures (ICASF 2025), proudly indexed by Scopus. Organized in collaboration with the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence, and held under the esteemed patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Cabinet Member and Minister of Tolerance, the conference will take place from December 9th to 11th, 2025 at the ultra-luxurious Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
As one of the world's most iconic and elite venues, Emirates Palace embodies excellence, prestige, and grandeur—a truly fitting backdrop for a global gathering of distinguished academics, policymakers, and industry leaders. Under the theme "Shaping the Future: Synergies Between Nature, Technology, and Society," ICASF 2025 promises to be an exceptional forum for advancing sustainable thought leadership on a world stage.
The ICASF conference series has rapidly grown into a globally recognized platform for advancing dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in sustainability and technology. It has previously attracted over 700 participants from 92 countries associated with Scopus proceedings and journal publications. We are proud to share that the ICASF 2023 conference proceedings are published across 3 Scopus-indexed volumes by Springer, a testament to the high quality and impact of the research presented, and we are currently in the process of preparing the ICASF 2024 proceedings for publication, following the success of last year's conference
ICASF 2025 conference aims to bring together a stellarline-up of researchers, scholars, industry experts, and policymakers from around the world to engage in presenting research papers, meaningful discussions, and share their insights on pressing sustainability and AI challenges and future-oriented solutions.

The WorldCist'24 - 12nd World Conference on Information Systems and Technologies, to be held in Lodz, at Lodz University of Technology, Poland, 26 - 28 March 2024, is a global forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, results, experiences and concerns in the several perspectives of Information Systems and Technologies.
We are pleased to invite you to submit your original papers to WorldCist'24. All submissions will be reviewed on the basis of relevance, originality, importance and clarity.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the CLIFF-GRADS Programme you must be currently enrolled in a PhD Programme, studying in a developing country and from a developing country. You are ineligible to apply if you have previously received a CLIFF-GRADS grant.
Preference will be given to students applying for opportunities outside their home country/country of study to encourage the building of global networks and connections through this programme.
We are pleased to announce the call for applications for the Pew Latin American Fellows Program in the Biomedical Sciences 2024 postdoctoral fellowship awards. The Program provides support for recent Ph.D. graduates from Latin American countries to conduct postdoctoral training in top biomedical laboratories in the United States. Individuals get additional funds for research in Latin America if they return after their postdoc in the US. The program aims to strengthen the scientific community in Latin America and to promote collaborative exchange between U.S. and Latin American scientists. I am writing to ask for your help to share information about this opportunity with students and colleagues at institutions in your country. This year's CIMUSET conference will take place at the newly-opened National Aviation Museum of Korea in Seoul from the 23–27 October. The theme of the conference is 'Enhancing the Accessibility to Museums', where we will discuss the many various barriers there are in science museums, which are preventing more diverse audiences from enjoying our institutions.
The deadline to submit your proposal is 30 June 2023.
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK), Saarland University (Germany), and the University of Alicante (Spain) are jointly organising the International Deans’ Course Latin America (IDC LA). This intensive training course is part of the DIES Programme (Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies), which has been jointly coordinated by the DAAD and HRK and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) since 2001 (www.daad.de/dies/en). The DIES IDC LA is jointly coordinated by Saarland University (UdS) and the University of Alicante (UA). Both institutions have been cooperating for a long period of time in projects focused on the evaluation, development, and improvement of university management in higher education institutions.
Deadline: 15 April 2023, 23:59 CET. Applications must be submitted in English. Applicants will be informed about the result of the selection process by July 2023.

ICOM, the premier International Conference on Organization and Management, is presented annually by Abu Dhabi University's College of Business. Delayed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, the conference will once again be hosted face to face in Abu Dhabi in February 2023. In line with the vision of the College of Business "To be recognized as a leading, globally connected business school creating and disseminating transformational knowledge and fostering sustainability for business and society", the conference theme: Sustainable Organizational Strategies in a Digital Economy, focusses on Sustainability and Technology. The conference location further supports this theme as the United Arab Emirates is the first Middle Eastern nation to commit to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. We welcome papers that examine organizational sustainability.

Under the Starry Sky is a nine-month program that provides a unique opportunity for young people to receive in-depth training on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and project management before implementing their own project, with the supervision and guidance from WFUNA. The program will culminate in a multi-day ship expedition in Norway in September 2023, where participants will have the chance to showcase their projects to local businesses and youth. A certificate of completion will be provided to participants at the end of the program.
The program is free of charge, and all costs (including travel, accommodation, and food) are fully covered.
Applications are open to Norwegian and international youth aged 18-25, and must be made in groups of four by December 31, 2022.
