Research Center in Mathematics and Metamathematics (CIMM, for its acronym in Spanish)

Its main objective is to develop scientific research in the different fields of Mathematics, linking its activities with scientific and academic centers of the country. It offers advisory and consultancy services on specific topics such as the use of Internet in Mathematics Education and the use of graphing calculator in Education, among others.

Objectives

  • Investigate all branches of mathematics and those branches surrounding it as the teaching of mathematics, history and philosophy of science and mathematics, etc.

Main functions

  • To publish articles specialized in indexed journals submitted to a peer evaluation process and disseminate the results in them.
