ELECTROBRUCELL: ELECTROKINETIC MICROFLUIDICS FOR LABEL-FREE DETECTION OF BRUCELLA. FIRST IN THE LAB AND THEN IN THE FIELD.
Objetivos
DEMONSTRATE AN ALL-IN-ONE SYSTEM THAT IS CAPABLE OF ENRICHING, ACCUMULATING, AND DETECTING BRUCELLA SPP. FROM PURIFIED LAB SAMPLES UTILIZING DIELECTROPHORESIS (DEP). BASED ON THE PRESENCE OF THE BACTERIA, THE FUTURE DIAGNOSIS OF LIVESTOCK WITH BRUCELLOSIS COULD BE PERFORMED ON-SITE IN A LOW-COST AND PORTABLE MANNER.
